Textbook/Chromebook/Hotspot Information 2020-21 School Year

Here is the process that is in place for Textbook/Chromebook/Hot Spot Check-Ins and Check-Outs:

Textbook Check-Ins (Returns) and Chromebook/Hot Spot Checkouts: Textbook Check-Ins (returns) as well as chromebook Check-Outs/swaps and hotspot Check-Outs will take place on July 30th and July 31st. Students will use the student parking lot and enter the building through the Northeast Doors between rooms 114 and 108. Students may stop at the chromebook window for chromebooks/hotspots if they need them. All other students will return their textbooks in the atrium and continue out through the north doors. Students should show up according to this grade-level and alpha breakdown:

Seniors - 7/30 morning A - H from 8:00 to 9:00, I - P from 9:00 to 10:00, Q - Z from 10:00 to 11:00.

Juniors - 7/30 Afternoon. A - H from 12:00 to 1:00, I - P from 1:00 to 2:00, Q-Z from 2:00 to 3:00

Checkouts: Students should check their E-mail for communication from their teachers about textbook checkouts. Online versions of textbooks will mostly be used, so many students will not be checking out textbooks at all. Teachers who have no online version of their textbooks available will schedule a time for students to come to campus to pick up their textbooks August 6th or 7th, or during your class period sometime during August 10th - 21st (must be during your class period due to the "synchronous instruction" requirement where students must be in a given class at a given time).

  • Students may check out books for more than one class on any day that they show up, so that students then don't have to come back to campus to get books for their other classes.
  • Teachers should communicate with their students exactly what book they will be getting and when.

Hope to see you all around campus soon!
