Block M Award
The Academic Block Letter Award is a prestigious high school honor, similar to a varsity letter in athletics, awarded to students for outstanding academic achievement.
How to Earn the Award
Students must maintain a GPA of 3.6 or higher for a set number of consecutive terms. Awards are given progressively based on continued academic excellence:

Year 1: Block M Academic Letter

Year 2: Bronze Pin

Year 3: Silver Pin

Year 4: Gold Pin (awarded to students with a 3.6 GPA or higher during the first half of senior year)
Senior Gold Pin Recognition
Gold Pins are presented during Senior Awards Night in the Spring as a special recognition of sustained academic excellence.
The 2025 Block M Awards will be presented on Tuesday, November 3rd from 10am to 11am in the Mamie Starr Theater.
