Eagle Mission and Vision

Eagle Mission

We believe it is McNair High's Mission to set high expectations for all stakeholders. We choose to meet these expectations by providing personal growth opportunities which will enable students to be life-long learners, productive members of our society, with highly developed character, who take responsibility for their actions. Building on our diversity and commitment to each other, we will create an environment that develops academic, emotional, and social skills to successfully adapt to a rapidly changing world.

Vision

The Vision of Ronald E. McNair High School is to create a welcoming and safe school environment that maximizes learning potential. A diverse staff teams with all students, parents, and our community whose common goal is to focus on eliminating the achievement gap between student groups. McNair High empowers students to become self-motivated, responsible, positive and productive citizens with strong literacy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.  Students will value and promote diversity, intellectual curiosity, and a dedicated work ethic embodying a firm foundation of character and integrity.
