Additional information for the After School Program.
All Students are Welcomed to utilize the Library. On Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays the library is open from 2:30-4:30 pm. The library is closed on Wednesdays. On Fridays the library is open from 2:30-3:30 pm.
In the Library the students have access to: art supplies, markers, colored pencils, pens, construction paper, poster board, binder and grid paper, glue sticks, post-its, and note cards. Students also can use the computers, printers, reference books, and teachers to assist students with homework.
The next game is here at home, against Bear Creek High School, Thursday, May 5th at 4:00 pm.

SJAA League Tournament McNair Boy's Golf
This past Monday, was a very exciting day for McNair Boy's Golf Team. Randy Tath won the entire SJAA League Tournament shooting an 85 for the round, moving him to the CIF Divisional Round. Angel Gracian and Chris Vito were medalists who also qualified to move on to the CIF Divisional Round.
This Thursday, May 5th, the Morada Middle School Bands will be joining our Symphonic Band for our Spring Concert. This is a chance to see our feeder school, under the direction of Beth Sanders, perform and then be wowed by our own Symphonic Band here at McNair High School. Admission is FREE and the concert starts at 7:00 pm
Next Thursday, May 12 McNair's Spring Orchestra Concert with the orchestra from Morada and our own orchestra to perform together. Come and hear some great music performed by wonderful students.

Parents and guardians our last Coffee with the Counselors of this school year. On Wednesday, May 11th 2016 in the school library from 7:20-8:20 am.

A sample 2015-16 CAASPP Student Score Report is now posted on the California Department of Education (CDE)
CAASPP Student Score Report Information Web page. The new report shows sample student data from two years, 2014-15 and 2015-16
New Parent Communication Resources
Three new resources designed to help schools and districts better communicate with parents about the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessments are now available on the CDE CAASPP Communications Toolkit Web page. These resources - a template letter to parents, a parent checklist, and guidance on shifting and refining the assessment-related messages delivered to parents - can be customized to suit the needs of the local educational agency (LEA) or individual school.
